About the Blog

The IEEE Technology Blog has been delivering the latest in breaking telecom, networking, cloud and AI news and analysis since April 2009 when it was called Community ComSoc blog. Delivered by several expert bloggers including Alan J Weissberger, ScD EE, a renowned researcher in the telecommunications/networking field.  The IEEE Techblog has been maintained by IEEE ComSoc software professional Vincent Rodriguez who created the blog and has greatly contributed to its success, including recognition by FeedSpot as a top telecom and broadband blog.

The IEEE Tech blog will continue to provide the news, information and analysis directly relevant to telecommunications, networking and IT professionals. Its coverage broadly extends across “telecom, networking, cloud and AI tech news, markets, and analysis (often with caveats/warnings) .”
