About the Blog

The IEEE Technology Blog has been delivering the latest in breaking telecom, networking, cloud and AI news and analysis since April 2009 when it was called Community ComSoc blog. Delivered by several expert bloggers including Alan J Weissberger, ScD EE, a renowned researcher in the telecommunications/networking field.  The blog has been maintained by IEEE ComSoc software professional Vincent Rodriguez who has greatly contributed to its success including recognition by FeedSpot as a top telecom and broadband blog.

The IEEE Tech blog will continue to provide the news and information relevant to communications professionals.  We invite would be bloggers to contact our Editorial Team (see Call for Blog Post Submissions).  We also invite reader Comments if they are relevant to the content of the posted article.  Please no advertising or infomercial like comments or unrelated questions,  all of which will be SPAMMED.
